The Fairfield Town Youth Council, led by Adaptive Recreation Coordinator, Gianna Salce, provides high school students with an opportunity to:
- Share youth perspectives on town issues
- Develop leadership, civic engagement, and advocacy skills
- Collaborate with peers and town leaders
- Participate in service and community-building initiatives
Youth Council members help inform town decision-making and play an active role in shaping programs, events, and policies that affect young people in Fairfield.
Who Can Join: Fairfield students in grades 9-10.
Meeting Schedule: Current Town Youth Council meetings take place monthly from 6-7pm.
Each September a limited number of positions open up for students to apply and go through the interview process. The 2026 application will become available in August 2026.
