Mad Science of Fairfield & New Haven Counties is a children's hands-on STEM enrichment company. Instead of teaching science primarily through worksheets or lectures, their instructors—called “Mad Scientists”—bring equipment and experiments to the group and make science into an interactive activity. They offer programs through schools, camps, community organizations, after-school programs, special events, workshops, and birthday parties.
Their activities can include things such as slime and chemical reactions, dry ice, bubbles, rockets, electricity and magnetism, optical effects, physics demonstrations, space activities, and other hands-on experiments. Some programs include something participants actually make and take home!
