Dear Fairfielders,
Summer in Fairfield is one of the most exciting times of the year. Our beaches, parks, fields, and community spaces come alive with families, friends, and neighbors enjoying everything our town has to offer.
Through Fairfield Community Services, we continue to bring together Parks and Recreation, Human and Social Services, Youth Services, the Bigelow Center for Senior Activities, H. Smith Richardson Golf Course, and our waterfront pavilions under one unified department. This collaboration allows us to better serve residents by offering programs, services, and events that support recreation, wellness, and community connection for people of all ages.
This season also marks an exciting milestone as we launch our new Fairfield Community Services website at FFLDCommunity.com. The new site makes it easier than ever to explore programs, access resources, and stay informed about everything happening across our department. We encourage you to visit and discover the many ways Fairfield Community Services supports residents throughout the year.
Summer is filled with opportunities to get outside and get involved. Our popular Peanut Butter Jam concerts return to delight young families, while the Summer Concert Series and Sand Jam Movie Nights provide memorable evenings by the water. Throughout town, our parks and fields will host youth camps, sports programs, and community gatherings that bring Fairfield residents together all season long.
At the same time, our Human and Social Services team and the Bigelow Center for Senior Activities continue to provide essential programs and support for residents who rely on these resources. Whether it is wellness programming, social engagement, or assistance navigating important services, Fairfield Community Services is here to support our community at every stage of life.
Inside this brochure, you will find a wide range of summer programs designed to keep Fairfield active, engaged, and connected. Whether you are registering your child for camp, attending a concert by the beach, exploring programs for older adults, or simply looking for new ways to enjoy the season, we hope you will find something that makes this summer special.
Thank you for being part of what makes Fairfield such a vibrant and welcoming community. We look forward to seeing you around town this summer.
