Adult Softball

All leagues are slow-pitch and open to players 18 years and older. Teams can be comprised of Fairfield residents, full time employees of the Town of Fairfield and Board of Education and up to 3 nonresidents. (Non-residents must pay a $100.00 fee and may only play in one league. Women non-residents fee is $75.00) The season opens in late April. 2025 teams will be contacted by the Recreation Department and invited to return. New teams that are interested in playing should contact the Department at 203-256- 3191 to be put on a waitlist.

Returning Players, both residents and non-residents, who participated in the 2025 season will be able to register ONLINE HERE. Check the Adult Softball link on our webpage for updates as the season approaches.

All NEW team members who are not property owners must register in person at the Recreation Department prior to the first game and provide 2 proofs of residency. Documents needed for proof of residency are a Driver’s License and Automobile Registration. (In lieu of car registration, current tax and utility bills are also accepted.) All address changes must be verified by the following: current real estate tax bill and/or current utility bill with name and address. Residency verification must be done with each calendar year. Approximate League Fees: $800.00 - $1350.00 (Will be determined closer to start date!)
